Fantoccini

This piece, choreographed by Rosalind Conlon, recreates the music hall of old and invigorates some skilled former performers to remember that time with their bodies. They love to demonstrate their skills, but they aren’t sure their skills still love them.

Fantoccini was first performed in 2016 at Joie de Vivre at Pavillion Dance South West in Bournemouth and has been reworked in 2023 for the premiere of Collect in Bridport in March 2023. Company performed Fantoccini in The Tempest at Salisbury International Festival in May 2023 and at The Rose Theatre, Kingston upon Thames in June 2023.
