Dance for Dementia

DANCE SIX-O has been trialling a new series of dance sessions for people living with dementia, led by specialist dance artist Rebecca Seymour. Supported by the Salisbury local Area Board and in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society, initial taster sessions led to a series of sessions linking to Singing for the Brain and held at St George’s Hall, Harnham.

Each session includes gentle movement, creativity, props and music with the aim to increase wellbeing through dance.

We welcome people living with Dementia and their carers to join us to explore a fun movement session. We are planning our next sessions and the dates will be posted here.

Please come along and join us for just £2 per class.
